Bells was written sort of by accident. While playing a meditative prelude for a Good Friday service at church, I improvised this melody and it really moved me. The simple melody repeats through the whole piece, while the left hand accompaniment grows in intensity. When I recorded this piece, I played the opening RH melody with just my 2nd finger to give the feeling of playing bells.
