Bio
Nate Hance is a pianist, entertainer and composer in the Twin Cities. His mission is to spread the joy that music brings him with others. He plays piano in all sorts of ways and genres, from playing piano backwards and upside-down weekly at MSP airport, singing 50s and 60s hits at senior living facilities, taking requests on live streams, or playing pop hit covers for corporate and private parties.
Born and raised in Minot, ND, he was a very shy kid who found his comfort at the piano. He learned he could write music in high school and went on to receive his music composition degree from Concordia College (Moorhead, MN) before traveling to over 65 countries playing piano on cruise ships. He now plays over 300 performances a year, including over 80 different senior living facilities.
In addition to performing all over Minnesota and the Midwest as both a solo artist and as a part of many great bands, he has a strong online presence. He has produced 8 albums of original, relaxing piano music which you can find on Spotify and other streaming platforms. In addition, he writes sheet music for his songs and arrangements. On YouTube, Instagram and TikTok, Nate produces greatest hit medleys and mashups, plays piano in an inflatable T-Rex costume, sings about his hatred of pineapple on pizza, and plays piano in unconventional styles. Above all, Nate loves to make people smile with his music.
