Nate HancePianist | Composer | Entertainer
Pianist and composer Nate Hance has played piano as long as he can remember. He began with classical and jazz and has since branched out to many other genres as a professional musician. He has been blessed to make music his full-time career since he graduated college in 2010. He loves spreading the joy that music gives him everywhere he goes.
It wasn’t until 8th grade when Nate realized his ability to write music and play by ear. Once he tapped into this talent, he couldn’t stop. He graduated with a music composition degree from Concordia College (Moorhead, MN) and proceeded to play music on cruise ships around the world for three years while still actively writing his own music. Nate has recorded six albums of original compositions and arrangements. He currently makes music in the Twin Cities and often travels around the state, country and world with his music. You can find him at his weekly gig at the Minneapolis-St Paul airport, bringing smiles to residents at assisted living homes, entertainer children at schools and libraries, playing for beautiful weddings, corporate events and late night with funky bands. Nathan was an amazing pianist. He took old classics and turned them into something unique and lovely. I really appreciated his extraordinary talent and his sincere condolences at the Memorial service. Such authentic humanity is rare.
